Ink & Spindle is a cutting edge Australian textile company specializing in modern eco friendly fabrics. Located in the sleepy, charming suburb of Kensington just North of Melbourne, Ink & Spindle’s warehouse window sports an expansive view of the city. They share a studio space with acclaimed ceramic artist, Abby Seymour.
Inspired by Australia’s abundant diverse flora and fauna, designers Lara Cameron and Caitlin Klooger start with freehand drawings before transferring their sketches to the computer to prep for film output. Final films are then used to burn massive screens that are subsequently stretched over custom frames.
