Classic Italian at North Beach Institution: Original Joe’s San Francisco

Arancini at Original Joe’s, San Francisco

Having been in business for over 75 years, Original Joe’s is truly part of the fabric of North Beach. The traditional decor with comfy leather booths and candle lit tables elicits a sense of nostalgic warmth. The Caesar Salad was good and the Arancini was amazing, but how could deep fried rice and cheese taste bad? Too bad that the Chicken Marsala was an inedible rubber mess. Wait service was top notch but the hostess was rude beyond compare.
