The Six String Society is a stellar musical theater production by San Diego promoter Kenneth Rexrode. His latest production called The 29 Club featured local San Diego artists performing songs by musicians that died at the age of 29. The incredibly talented lineup at the show included Robin Henkel, Casey Hensley, Gregory Page, Jimmy Patton, Leonard Patton and Whitney Shay. Musicians dressed the roll such as Casey strolling out with a full bottle of “booze” in a mini dress impersonating Janis Joplin. The performances were absolutely mesmerizing.
